Terms of service

Acceptance of terms

By using TexStylus you agree to these terms. If you use TexStylus on an account for your team or organisation, the person who created the account agrees to them on behalf of that team.

The service

TexStylus is a collaborative LaTeX editing service. You are responsible for the documents you create, upload and share, and for making sure your use complies with the law and with these terms.

The service is provided as-is. While we work hard to keep it running and reliable, we make no guarantee about availability or that your files will never be harmed by technical failures.

Acceptable use

You must not use TexStylus to store or share unlawful content, to attack the service or other users, to scrape it at scale, or to disrupt it in any other way.

We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Your content and us

You keep ownership of everything you create. TexStylus gets no rights over your documents beyond the right to store and process them so we can run the service for you.

If you self-host, this does not apply — your data never leaves your infrastructure.

Payments and plans

Paid plans and prices are described on our site. If you sign up for a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees shown. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Limitation of liability

TexStylus is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

We may change these terms from time to time; the latest version always applies. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate access for breach of these terms.
